What I’m Living In This Summer
Summer wardrobes are not complicated, and honestly, mine has gotten simpler every year. A few easy pieces, a few comfortable ones, shoes you can wear every day — that is really all it takes. Here is what is on repeat for me right now.
The Dresses
This is where Gap and Abercrombie are truly shining for me this season. Linen and cotton dresses, in every color and silhouette, have basically become my uniform. They are effortless in the best way — throw one on and you are done, no thinking required, and somehow always appropriate no matter where the day takes you. I do not really wear shorts or jeans, so dresses have become the foundation of almost everything in my closet right now.
The Layers
Ralph Lauren is where I go for sweaters and cardigans — even in summer, there is always a cool evening or an air-conditioned room that calls for a light layer, and Ralph Lauren cardigans have that classic, polished quality that makes even the simplest outfit feel a little more finished.
The Staples
Beyond dresses, Gap and Abercrombie are just doing incredible things with basics right now — soft tees, easy tanks, the kind of pieces you reach for without thinking. I have also become completely obsessed with Abercrombie’s bra-free line. It is genuinely one of those small wardrobe shifts that changes everything about how comfortable getting dressed feels.
The Comfy and Workout Sets
Aerie continues to be my go-to for anything comfy or workout related — soft sets that feel good to live in, whether that is working from home or heading out for a run.
On My Feet
Reef sandals for anything beach or coastal related, and Rothy’s for basically everything else. They are the shoes I am living in right now — comfortable enough for a full day on your feet, but still look intentional.
