The Noellie Foundation Establishes Volunteer Community in Vero Beach and Fort Pierce
Expanding Support for Pediatric Patients and Families Across Indian River and St. Lucie Counties
The Noellie Foundation is pleased to announce the formation of a dedicated volunteer community within Vero Beach and Fort Pierce, Florida. As our organizational footprint expands across the Treasure Coast, we are seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to assist in serving pediatric patients, supporting their families, and facilitating Noellie Foundation programs and community initiatives throughout Indian River and St. Lucie counties.
Our mission is rooted in a fundamental conviction: children and families navigating difficult seasons should feel remembered, encouraged, and enveloped in thoughtful care. Through the distribution of literature, comfort items, family-centered programming, and meaningful community outreach, we aim to introduce moments of gentleness and joy into circumstances that can otherwise feel uncertain or overwhelming.
This vital work is made possible through the generous contribution of time, talent, and care from members of the community.
Regional Initiatives: Vero Beach and Fort Pierce
The Noellie Foundation is currently developing local initiatives to benefit pediatric patients and families served by hospitals, medical facilities, and community partners in Vero Beach (Indian River County) and Fort Pierce (St. Lucie County).
As these institutional relationships and programs are established, localized volunteer projects will encompass:
-
Patient Comfort and Care Logistics: Preparing Noellie books and comfort items for children undergoing medical treatment, and assembling thoughtfully designed care packages for pediatric patients and their families.
-
Encouragement and Outreach: Composing age-appropriate notes of encouragement, and organizing and preparing materials for approved hospital and community deliveries.
-
Event and Activity Facilitation: Assisting with Noellie Foundation events for children and families, and supporting seasonal programs, donation drives, and family-centered activities.
-
Operations and Hospitality: Sorting, packing, labeling, and maintaining program supplies, as well as assisting with event registration, venue setup, hospitality, activities, and post-event cleanup.
Operational Note: All hospital-related projects, deliveries, and volunteer activities are coordinated in advance with participating institutions and conducted in strict accordance with their corporate policies, privacy mandates, health protocols, and volunteer guidelines.

The Impact of Your Service
Behind every package prepared, event organized, and book delivered is a child or family navigating an unforeseen crisis.
A thoughtfully selected book offers a child a sanctuary of imagination and rest. A comforting gift provides familiarity in an alien environment. A meticulously planned family event creates an afternoon wherein children are free to feel celebrated, included, and simply young.
These gestures communicate a vital, enduring message to families in need:
-
You are seen.
-
You are valued.
-
Your family has not been forgotten.
Volunteers are the vital conduit through which this message is carried into the community with consistency, dignity, and love.
