A Turning of the Page
Standing in Vero Beach today, on the beach, I am in awe of how God makes all things new, how He brings beautiful seasons even, and especially, when we least expect them. I loved this summer. Truly, wholly loved it, the slowness of it, the long mornings, every bit. But if I am being honest, I have been waiting all year for what comes next, because fall is my favorite time of the year, and it is finally here. Fall means Halloween, and Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, my very favorite of them all, each one arriving like its own small gift, one after another, until the year closes exactly how I like it best.
So today, summer gets a proper send-off, and tomorrow, I am heading straight to my favorite local coffee shop for their pumpkin drinks, because some traditions do not wait for the calendar to catch up.
The months ahead feel full already, so much unfolding for Noellie and for The Noellie Foundation, and I cannot wait to share it all as it comes. There is so much peace in this new season, so much joy arriving right alongside it, and so much good still on its way.
Summer, thank you. Fall, I have missed you.
