The Odyssey, Wearable

The Odyssey, Wearable

Some stories are old enough that they no longer need retelling — only remembering. That was the idea behind this capsule: to take a poem three thousand years old and let it live again on cotton, worn against skin, carried into ordinary days.

There is the trireme sailing across a chest, the Spartan helmet rendered in gold on black, the wine-dark sea written plainly across a back the way Homer himself once wrote it. And there is Argos — the dog who waited twenty years for his master to come home, who recognized him before anyone else could, who is, to me, the quietest and most devastating character in the entire poem. He gets his own line here: He waited twenty years.

This capsule is finished now, each piece made to be worn and lived in, not just looked at — soft cotton, unfussy fits, small classical details that reward a second look. You can find the full collection, live and ready, in the shop now.

A hero. A sea. A trick. A home. Some journeys are worth wearing.
