At Lourdes, our founder Rory Noelle felt a tug in her heart — at the Grotto, in the baths, walking through the cold — they stayed with her. Quietly. Persistently. The way things do when they are meant for you.

At first she just held it. Not knowing what to do with it, she held it close to her heart.

And then, somewhere between the water and the candlelight, she said yes.

Meet The Little Lamb

Every great story has a character who arrives quietly and changes everything.

Little Lamb is the newest member of the Noellie plushies. He is small and gentle and soft, with wool the color of cream and the Noellie star resting above him as he sleeps. He doesn't say much. He doesn't need to. He simply shows up, curls close, and makes you feel like everything is going to be okay.

He was born at Lourdes, before there were words for him. And now he's here.

Lambs and The Noellie Foundation

Noellie's Little Lambs is a program of The Noellie Foundation dedicated to bringing warmth, comfort, and love to babies facing the hardest beginnings across the United States.

These are the babies born too soon, fighting for their lives in NICUs while their parents sit in waiting rooms running on no sleep and no answers. These are the babies diagnosed with cancer or serious illness before they ever see the world properly. These are the babies born to mothers in homeless shelters, in crisis centers, in prison — babies who arrived in the middle of a storm. These are the babies whose first days are defined not by soft light and lullabies, but by machines and monitors and uncertainty.

Every baby — however small, however fragile, however uncertain their beginning — deserves to feel loved.

That is the whole mission. That is everything.

The Gift Given

Every Noellie's Little Lambs bundle contains four things.

A soft lamb plushie — a gentle companion for a baby who needs one. A beautiful blanket — warmth they can feel. A keepsake baby book — because every baby's story deserves to be remembered, especially the ones whose beginnings were hard. And a card for the mother — because she is going through it too, and she deserves to know that her baby is loved, and so is she.

The bundle is simple. But I believe in the power of a thing that says — someone thought of you. Someone made this for you. You are not invisible.

Where The Little Lamb Goes

Right now we are starting in the United States, partnering with NICUs, pediatric wards, children's hospitals, shelters, and crisis care centers to get bundles into the arms of the babies who need them most.

The vision is bigger. A bundle in every children's hospital in this country. Partnerships with hospital networks, shelters, and crisis care organizations from coast to coast. A community of people who sponsor bundles, who say yes to a baby they will never meet, who believe that love is always worth giving even when you cannot see where it lands.

This is just the beginning. But beginnings matter.

Why A Lamb

A lamb is gentle. A lamb is innocent. A lamb is, across every culture and every tradition, a symbol of tenderness and care.

When the image came to me at Lourdes I didn't overthink it. A lamb for the littlest ones. It was simple and it was right.

The Noellie star sits above Little Lamb in our logo — the same star that has always guided the Noellie world. Because even the smallest, most fragile life is worth being guided toward. Worth being held. Worth being seen.
